Professor Andrei Markovits honored with two prestigious awards!
Andrei Markovits was recently bestowed the 17th GOLDEN APPLE AWARD by University of Michigan Undergraduate students for being the best professor on campus. He was also recently honored with the 2007 TRONSTEIN AWARD for exceptional undergraduate teaching in the Department of Political Science.
In keeping with the award’s tradition, Professor Markovits will deliver his “Ideal Last Lecture” on Wednesday April 11th, 2007 at 7:30PM at Rackham Auditorium. The title of the lecture will be SPORTS CULTURES ON TWO CONTINENTS: METAPHORS FOR MY LIFE.
